Even at the age of 81, installation was straight forward following the app instructions. Prompts then guided me to connect my Amazon Music info-it all works perfectly. And the best benefit is I can fine tune the stereo sound to accommodate hearing issues; couldn’t do that with my smart speaker. Excellent product!

Great sounding streamer. Haven't used internal dac so can't comment. I upgraded the power supply which to my ears made for a big sonic improvement. Would be 5 stars but, no amazon ultra hd and some qobuz music when playing from the native app will stream at 192 kHz while using the songbird app may only be 44.1 or 96 kHz. For my use love form factor and sound.

Being a Baby Boomer I had trouble setting up the Songbird HR at the onset, but I was able to contact the company to help in troubleshooting my issues. It also helped having my wife's younger neice assisting with the set-up. Overall very please with my purchase!

horrible never got it to work properly. goes offline constantly and announces if. wifi was checked and fine. couldn't play streamed movies if wifi didn't work. really not worth your money or all the time you will go back and forth with tech

I was so impressed with the Songbird HR that I ordered a second one. The audio improvement on my old Bose Lifestyle and Bose Music System IV has been surprising and very enjoyable. Installation was easy and the unit operates even on a weak wifi signal. Good price and great performance!

Like it but wish Apple Music was part of streaming services. Now debating about moving all of my Apple Music to Tidal.

The sound is really great. But the app is lacking ease of use and would benefit by having more native apps, especially SiriusXM.

I mostly use it to stream Spotify to my stereo using the standard aux out and a set of audio cables. I cannot address how the other in/outputs work as I do not use them. Like the title says it sounds good and streams like I expected an I can pretty much control everything from my phone or a laptop (Spotify app) so i do not use the Andover app much, just to set the thing up. I did play around with iHeart Radio but when I changed my password I could not find a way to change the password and email again for iHeart Radio in the Andover app so i could not listen anymore, it keeps trying to use the old password. No big deal but I think the app is a little underwhelming. Other than that it's great!

Very pleased with this device. It has breathed new life into my stereo system that has sat silent for years. I’m sure happy I kept it now that I play my music library through a quality system with superior sound quality.

Setup was relatively easy. The sound is great, especially using the wifi connection. Unfortunately, it seems it's not possible to use that connection as much as I would like. I wish the list of sources included Apple Music and free Spotify. Any plans to add those? I also would like your app more if it were optimized for iPads.

I had a lap top with HDMI cable to my receiver and wasn't expecting the music to sound better with the Songbird HR but it definitely does. The clarity and depth of music is very impressive.

Versatile, sounds as good as any other for the price and eff the ones that are more expensive! We can only hear a certain range anyways! Just buy this and go to bed happy!

If you're streaming FLAC from a NAS to a stereo using DLNA, this is the best solution I've found. No functional problems ( like scrambling or stalling ), great sound quality (better than a smart TV + DAC), and a great value.

The Andover Audio Songbird HR (Hi-Res) streamer is a high quality, excellent sounding piece of audio gear. Perhaps its best quality has been the fact that it has been rock solid in my system as far as connectivity goes. I say this because no matter how good a piece of equipment is or how wonderful the UI (user interface) and software is, if the device won't stay connected, frustration quickly sets in.
One of the many ways that I play music is using the Qobuz streaming service. When the internet is involved, there are many opportunities for the music being streamed to experience interruptions. My internet speed is average at best, yet the Songbird HR has been excellent in its ability to stay connected and keep the music going.
Sound quality is fantastic and I have been very happy with Andover Audio's customer service response to all my questions. Highly recommended!
