Good record player

This little gem puts out some quality sound! Our system arrived quickly and we had it up and running within an hour. We are very pleased with such a compact unit performing so well. We are repeat Andover customers and happy ones at that.

Overall a great system. Appreciated the included audio cable I used for the sub. Only complaint is it’s not loud enough. 5 star quality and sound though!

I am just starting to get into Vinyl. After all the research that I've done, I thought I'd have to spend thousands and thousands to get a decent set-up. The SpinBase 2 allows me to have a QUALITY all-in-one speaker for an affordable cost. I am super grateful for Andover for coming up with this idea. My vinyls sound great. You can hear the quality in it. It's definitely worth it and you feel like you got the most bang for you buck.

Very disappointing, especially when compared with the excellent SpinBase (which I bought with the Deck.)
The turntable seems incapable of maintaining speed, which means all the records occasionally slow down a beat or two. This was never a problem with the cheap Victrola I’d been using before.

I’m a fan of this product. I’ve always been confused about all the wires and speakers and boxes. This all in one product minimizes complexity and still sounds good. I am not an audiophile, so I can’t speak for that community. I just like bands and records and music and the activity of physical music. I also really like sleek and minimal design and this baby really takes the cake on minimalism. Looks awesome in our living room. We have it set up on a big “credenza” and it looks great. I’m excited to show it off to guests. Also the Bluetooth works so it’s awesome to have a really nice and loud and high quality Bluetooth speaker for when I wanna listen to new stuff.

I love this speaker. It sounds great and fits perfectly for my small vinyl setup. I love how I can be anywhere in the room/off angle and it still sounds great.

I am on my second version of this speaker. The first had a hum to the speaker that was a little bothersome but I was able to switch it out easily to a different one where the hum, while present still (nature of phono setting) is definitely softer and cannot hear it when playing music.

What I wish this speaker had is the ability to airplay/google cast. While the speaker has bluetooth functionality that sounds great, I don't want everything that I play on my phone to be sent to the Spinbase. I ended up buying a network streamer/DAC that I can airplay to to solve this issue.

Pros: Sounds great and is a great solution for those not wanting to purchase many separate components

Cons: no airplay/google cast so some may not see it as a complete "all in one" device

Overall: still giving it 5 stars and would easily recommend it.

I couldn’t believe that it really doesn’t vibrate at all, so a turntable is perfect sitting on top.
It sounds so nice with vinyl records and rocks with Bluetooth.
Looks great with the SpinDeck Max.

This one star isn’t about product quality. I ordered the Spin Trio and haven’t received the speaker yet. Hope I’ll be able to review shortly. Would hate to have to return.

I added the SpinBase 2 to my office last week, and it’s quickly become an essential part of my workday. First off, it comes with a remote. It sounds like a small thing, but being able to adjust the volume or bass during a call without leaving my desk is such a win. The sound quality is impressive for its size, bringing a depth to my records that makes working at my desk feel a little less like… work.

What I really love is how easy it is to use. Like the MAX, you don’t have to worry about vibrations or placement. It’s all just seamless. The design is sleek and modern, so it fits in my office without standing out too much. Honestly, it’s the perfect companion to my vinyl collection and has made me appreciate my music even more.

After half a decade of using the OG Spindeck, I found that i wanted something a little more advanced and at least semi-automatic. Enter the Spindeck 2. Honestly, it's everything I'm looking for in a turntable. Excellent warm sound, automatic tone arm return at the end, a quick switch flip to play 45 RPM records. It was quick to set up and everything works without issue. My Spinbase 2 Max will be here Monday and I can't wait!

This is my first record player and I absolutely love it. The print directions were a little tricky to follow, but Andover has a YouTube setup video that was really helpful. I purchased this along with the speaker and the sound is beautiful. I also love that it connects to bluetooth, so I can play the records throughout my house.

Great sound and looks great. I appreciate that the lights indicating volume etc. turn off when you aren't adjusting them. Remote is handy. All good--exactly what I had been hoping for.
