Depending on the source, the original recordings were preserved on 2\" multi-track, 2-track, and ¼\" master tapes, with transfers undertaken by renowned broadcast archives and engineering teams around the world.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe \u003ci\u003eLive in Toronto\u003c\/i\u003e recordings were newly mixed and mastered from transfers of the original 2\" multi-track master tapes, while the remaining performances were mastered from newly transferred stereo mixes sourced from the original analog recordings by engineer Blaise Barton. Mastering was completed using the Weiss Audio Mastering Suite and Digital Audio Denmark converters, chosen for their exceptional transparency and fidelity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor vinyl production, the set was cut using modern Direct Metal Mastering (DMM), a process prized for its remarkably low noise floor, precise groove definition, and reduced risk of pre-echo and playback issues.
