Feedback, defeated
Loudspeakers work by producing vibration. The business end of a turntable works by detecting vibration. So under normal circumstances, placing your turntable directly on top of a loudspeaker is a recipe for a miserable distortion called “acoustic feedback.” Andover’s patented IsoGroove® Technology protects your turntable from vibration – and protects your music from feedback. Most power amplifiers generate heat along with the wattage. So it’s difficult to fit a powerful amp and a capable stereo loudspeaker into a single, compact enclosure. The solution? Our Class D amplifier is cool and compact, yet delivers prodigious sound.

The right base for your turntable
The SpinBase system is designed to sit directly under most turntables, including popular models like the Numark TT-100, Technics SL-230, Audio Technica LP-120, or our SpinDeck series of turntables. As long as your turntable feet fall within the SpinBase system’s dimensions, you’re good to go.
All the right connections
The system accommodates the widest range of turntables, including those with magnetic or ceramic cartridges and turntables with or without built-in preamps. And we apply the correct equalization to get the best sound, even from inexpensive ceramic cartridges. In addition, the SpinBase system provides quick and easy connections for Bluetooth streaming devices, a CD player and a subwoofer.

My turntable does not have a built-in pre-amp. Will it work with SpinBase?
Yes. SpinBase has a built-in preamp, to work with turntables without one built in (such as Andover's SpinDeck turntable). Spinbase also works with turntables that have a pre-amp, by connecting them to its Line-Input.
How do you turn on Spinbase?
The front knob turns on the unit and adjusts volume. Rotate the knob clockwise so you hear a "click" to turn the unit on. Adjusting the knob will change the volume level. To shut Spinbase off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until you hear a "click". The unit is now off.
How can I connect Bluetooth headphones?
The SpinBase receives Bluetooth. It does not transmit. You'll need to purchase a Bluetooth transmitter and plug it into the headphone output of the SpinBase. Google "airpods bluetooth transmitter" and you'lll see a bunch of options.
Can I connect a CD player?
Yes, you would connect it to the Line input on your SpinBase.
